Aurélien Tchouaméni talks Karim Benzema, Eduardo Camavinga and Zinedine Zidane

In his official presentation as a new Real Madrid player, Aurélien Tchouaméni spoke about his new Madrid team-mates Karim Benzema and Eduardo Camavinga.

On Benzema and Camavinga

“I have been lucky enough to speak to Benzema and Camavinga. We have seen how he [Camavinga] has improved in his first year and I will be lucky enough to play at the club with the best striker in the world. When the negotiations were progressing he wrote to me and asked me if he could help me,” he said in words reported by Spanish outlet Marca.

Cesc Fabregas and his help

“When I arrived at Monaco I knew that if I had a good relationship with him he would give me good advice. He told me to go forward as soon as I stole the ball, to see the whole pitch and know what to do with the ball before it comes to me. But I still have to improve in all aspects of the game.”

First Madrid idol

“Zidane is a Madrid icon, but for the French, we also remember the Zidane of the 2006 World Cup. Zidane and Karim Benzema are my idols.”
