Tottenham want to sell Giovani Lo Celso, according to Matteo Moretto of Relevo.
Spurs are looking to sell the midfielder for around €30m.
Villarreal want to keep the 26-year-old, but don’t intend to pay that amount. Lo Celso would be happy to stay with the Yellow Submarine, where he has played on loan since January of this year.
The easiest solution for the La Liga club would be another loan deal with an obligation to buy.
The Argentinian was offered to Atlético Madrid in recent weeks but, as things stand, there has been no further movement.
Lo Celso made 16 La Liga appearances in 2021/22, scoring one goal and registering one assist.
The Argentina international joined Spurs from Spanish club Real Betis in 2020 for €32m.
