Aurélien Tchouaméni was officially unveiled as a new Real Madrid player on Tuesday.
The Frenchman spoke for the first time as a Madrid player, showing his delight at joining the European champions.
“I am very happy to be here to start my story with Real Madrid, the best club in the world.
“We are going to work hard to win many more titles.
“I want to thank the president of Real Madrid, my agent and my family for being here. Hala Madrid!,” he said in quotes picked up by Marca.
Tchouaméni is Madrid’s second signing of the summer window after Antonio Rüdiger and has signed with Madrid until 2028, a six-year contract with which Real Madrid have secured one of the most promising midfielders in European football.
Tchouaméni will wear the number 18 shirt for Real Madrid.
