Thomas Lemar wants to stay at Atlético Madrid and will sign a new deal, according to journalist Matteo Moretto.
The La Liga club are also negotiating with Jan Oblak’s entourage regarding a new deal.
Both players are on contracts with Atlético until 2023. After a difficult start to life with the Madrid-based club, Lemar has become a key part of Diego Simeone’s side.
Oblak is arguably the greatest goalkeeper in the club’s history and negotiations for the 28-year-old are expected to take longer than the talks for the French midfielder’s new deal.
