Two leading Premier League clubs have positioned themselves in the race for the signature of Barcelona star Ferran Torres. This of course comes amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding the situation of the versatile attacker in Catalunya’s capital.
Frontman Ferran has for his part been heavily linked with a move away from Barcelona this summer.
Ahead of the expiration of his contract terms in 12 months’ time, the 26-year-old has been earmarked as a potential market opportunity by a whole host of clubs across the continent.
To date, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have been the club most frequently tipped as a potential landing spot for Ferran with a view to next season. Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid are also understood to be keen.
And as alluded to above, this week, a fresh pair of suitors have been named in the media. The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, citing several outlets in England, who report:
‘Tottenham and Arsenal would be interested in the future of the footballer.’
Both London clubs, it is claimed, are giving real consideration to tabling offers for Ferran before the summer is out.
