Arsenal star Cristhian Mosquera has this week sent a message of positivity the way of his former employers at Valencia. This of course comes amid what has been a concerning opening to the campaign at Mestalla.
With seven gameweeks on the board, Valencia sit 2nd from bottom in the La Liga table, with just four points secured.
These woes have already given rise to a change on the bench, with Carlos Corberán having been sent on his way earlier this month, replaced by the experienced Javier Aguirre.
And as alluded to above, this week, Los Che’s squad have been assured that things will soon turn around.
Ex-Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, now of Arsenal, took advantage of his free time over the international break to return to his former home on Thursday. The 22-year-old was afforded permission to hold a personalised training session at Valencia’s base.
On his way out of the ground, Mosquera stopped to answer a round of media questions, and made use of the opportunity to assure:
“I suffer from afar, but things are sure to get better. I’ve seen the faces and the people who are confident they can turn things around, get points, and I know they will. I’ve been with them for many years, and I trust them.”
