A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has made his way onto the transfer radar of German champions Bayern Munich with a view to January.
This comes amid the understanding that the Bavarians are eyeing a potential deal for Dani Olmo.
Spanish international Olmo has found himself in and out of the starting XI in Catalunya’s capital over the early weeks of the new campaign. Between La Liga and the Champions League, the 28-year-old has featured from the off in three fixtures, and from the bench in five.
Forced to battle it out for minutes with the explosive Fermín López, Olmo appears to be considered more of a backup than first-choice by Hansi Flick at present.
And as alluded to above, considering taking advantage of this situation following the turn of the year are those in a position of power at Bayern Munich. As per a report from Sky Sports:
‘Bayern Munich are lining up a potential January move for Barcelona’s Dani Olmo. Amid growing interest from other clubs in Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise, Bayern are making contingency plans for a new forward.’
