Ángel Di María offered a route back to La Liga

Ángel Di María has garnered interest for a move back to Spain, according to TyC Sports.

Gastón Edul of TyC Sports reports that both Atlético Madrid and FC Barcelona are interested in signing the Argentine winger. Di María’s contract with PSG ends in the summer, and he is yet to sign a contract extension with the Parisians. Barça and Atleti, who sit 2nd and 4th in La Liga respectively, are set to rival Benfica and Juventus for Di María.

A move to either Spanish side would be a spicy one for Di María, who spent a successful four seasons with their rivals Real Madrid, between 2010 and 2014. Not only that, he was the Man of the Match in his last ever game for Los Blancos, the famous night when they won La Décima.

Di María has featured 27 times for PSG across all competitions this season, contributing three goals and seven assists.
