Álvaro Morata open to Inter Milan move

As reported by Relevo earlier on Tuesday, there was a meeting between Juanma Lopez, agent of Atlético Madrid striker Álvaro Morata, and Inter Milan. The meeting, which also involved agent Giuseppe Bozzo, took place in the offices of the Nerazzurri, as was exclusively revealed by Relevo.

A possible move for Morata is on the cards again, although, in principle, not to Juventus, a team he already represented in the past. Inter plan to offer around €15m including bonuses for the Spain international. Atlético, however, are asking for a fixed fee of €20m. Therein lies the main stumbling block in the operation.

The meeting between the two parties (Inter and player) has however concluded positively, with an understanding between the two at an economic level and Morata is open to joining the San Siro outfit.

The Atlético striker agreed a renewal with the La Liga club in June (he extended his contract until 2026), but in reality his real wish was and is to return to Italy, where Inter, Milan and AS Roma have been interested in recent weeks.
