Speaking to Fabrizio Romano, João Félix has admitted that he wants to play for Barcelona.
The Atlético Madrid forward has made some surprising statements exclusively to journalist Romano, saying “I would love to play for Barça”.
He added: “Barcelona has always been my first choice and I’d love to join Barça. It was always been my dream since I was a kid”.
Mundo Deportivo report that the Portuguese player does not want to stay at Atlético and his current club are also in favour of a sale but the fee demanded could be an issue for clubs showing an interest in the former Benfica playmaker.
He has been linked with a move to PSG ahead of the 2023-24 season after his disappointing loan spell at Chelsea came to an end. PSG head coach Luis Enrique is believed to be a fan of the Atlético forward.
