Zinedine Zidane has labelled Tuesday’s night Champions League clash with Inter “a final” and it could go some way to determining whether 13-time European champions Real Madrid reach the knockout stages of the Champions League or not.
Madrid lost to Shakhtar Donetsk in their Group B opener and managed to rescue a last-minute point away to Borussia Mönchengladbach last week.
Speaking in Monday’s pre-match press conference, the French coach said: “We know our opponents and it’s a complicated one. They are a good team, very physical and they play good football. Another difficult game for us. It is a final.”
