Xavi: “It bothers me that I can’t have Koundé.”

In Xavi’s post-match press conference following Barcelona’s 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad, the Barcelona coach evaluated his team’s performance and revealed his thoughts regarding the registration of Jules Koundé.

In the interview that appeared on Relevo and Mundo Deportivo, Xavi discussed the performance of his team:

“We had to take risks, but by playing with a three-man defence, you take more risks at the back, but you generate superiority in attack. Sometimes we had to be more patient. Sometimes we are too impetuous because we play with a lot of young players. But I’m very satisfied, this victory confirms that we’re on the right track, last week was a blow and winning here will strengthen us.”

Xavi also went on to express his annoyance regarding the Jules Koundé situation:

“It bothers me that I can’t have Koundé. We are all annoyed. I hope to have Koundé next week, let’s see if we have any luck.”
