When Real Madrid will discover the extent of Jude Bellingham’s ban

A fresh insight into the disciplinary process set to be carried out against Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has been provided this evening.

The name of midfielder Bellingham has of course taken its place front and centre in the media headlines in Spain over the course of the last 24 hours.

This comes after the England international was at the heart of one of the biggest scandals in the recent history of La Liga.

After looking as though he had netted the most dramatic of winners in Real’s meeting with Valencia at the Mestalla on Saturday night, Bellingham’s joy soon turned to despair.

This came upon the realisation setting in that referee Jesús Gil Manzano had whistled for full-time, a split second before the ball reached the head of the 20-year-old.

Bellingham, incensed, made clear his anger with the decision amid a chaotic post-match protest, with referee Gil Manzano, in turn, having brandished a red card in the direction of the midfielder.

This, of course, means that Bellingham is now facing up to a ban, likely to span a pair of La Liga fixtures.

Should the Disciplinary Committee deem his offence to be serious enough, though, an additional game could be added to the sanction.

Just when, then, are Real Madrid set to be made aware of the extent of their top scorer’s punishment?

As per a report from Diario AS, as much will be forthcoming on Wednesday.

It is also confirmed that, whatever the outcome of the investigation, Real Madrid intend to appeal any ban handed down to Bellingham.
