An insight into the predicted knock-on effect of the arrival of Hansi Flick on the bench at La Liga giants Barcelona on the situation of youngster Vitor Roque has today been provided.
And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Barcelona faithful.
This comes amid confirmation that Roque could be one of those to benefit most from the change of personnel in the dugout in Catalunya’s capital.
The Brazilian has of course endured an altogether tough time of things since his January arrival in La Liga, with boss Xavi having made clear time and time again that he did not consider Roque ready to contribute on a consistent basis.
Speculation surrounding a potential summer divorce between the parties, in turn, had begun to mount ahead of the summer.
As revealed by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, however, Roque’s prospects in Blaugrana colours, all of a sudden, are looking altogether more bright.
Speaking on his official YouTube channel on Friday afternoon, Romano explained:
‘For sure now for Vitor Roque, it will be a completely different situation. With a new manager, an opportunity to be an important player for Barcelona.
‘The feeling at Barcelona is that with Hansi Flick – they already discussed it, Flick and the Barca board – is that Vitor Roque could be a completely, completely different topic.’
