Footage stemming from the first training session overseen by José Mourinho at Real Madrid following his return to the club has come to the fore online.
Iconic tactician Mourinho has of course been tasked with heading a new era in Spain’s capital over the seasons to come.
After two successive years without silverware, Florentino Pérez and co. have opted to go back to basics, reappointing a trusted source of winning in the form of ‘Mou’.
The Portuguese made his way back to Spain last week, ahead of kickstarting preparations for the campaign ahead on Monday morning.
And as alluded to above, footage from the first training session held by Mourinho and his staff at Valdebebas has since surfaced.
Looking engaged and full of intent, the 63-year-old put a mix of first-team stars and up-and-coming youngsters through their paces in an intense opening session.
