An insight into the hopes of Barcelona starlet Vitor Roque, in the case of his departure from the club being pushed through this summer, has on Monday been forthcoming.
It is of course common knowledge that the future of frontman Roque remains firmly up in the air, ahead of the new campaign.
After failing to convince ex-manager Xavi of his qualities across his first six months at the club, it is unclear how the Brazilian is faring in efforts to achieve as much under the watch of Hansi Flick.
Those of a Blaugrana persuasion desperate to see Roque stay put for the campaign ahead, in turn, will no doubt be concerned to hear that the player himself is already seemingly planning for life away from the Camp Nou.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Monday confirmed that the 19-year-old has already earmarked his priority landing spot.
Desperate to remain in Europe for the 2024/25 term, Roque, it is understood, has set his sights on a move to Italy.
This comes amid an active push from the Barcelona hierarchy to force their out-of-favour attacker out.
‘The Brazilian has rejected, for the moment, the proposal from Saudi Al Hilal, but would be happy to join Lazio, a club that has already presented a proposal to acquire 50 per cent of his transfer,’ it is confirmed.
