Speaking in an interview after scoring a brace for Real Madrid over Elche on Saturday, Vinicius discussed the racist incident involving a fan at Camp Nou during El Clásico last weekend.
The fan was caught on camera racially abusing the Brazilian as he walked off the pitch as a second half substitute.
“I think they deserve severe punishments, so they don’t do it again,” Vinicius said in quotes picked up by Marca.
“At the time I decided not to say anything because I was focused on the game.”
