Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has on Monday evening provided his reaction to the news of Kylian Mbappé’s signing being made official.
The statement which Real Madrid fans the world over were so long awaiting was, of course, at last forthcoming a short time ago.
This came by way of confirmation that long-time target Kylian Mbappé has put pen to paper on terms with Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
Mbappé joins a star-studded squad of players in Spain’s capital, who are fresh off securing Champions League glory less than 48 hours ago.
And, as alluded to above, one such Blancos star has since taken to social media, to provide his reaction to the news of his new teammate’s addition.
In a post on his official X account, Vinícius Jr. moved to reveal his appreciation for something of an unsung hero behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Known to play a central role in each and every one of Real Madrid’s high-profile transfers, Vinícius unveiled a photo of he and chief scout Juni Calafat, accompanied by the simple caption:
‘JUNI!!!!’
