Vinícius Jr. secures latest Real Madrid award

Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has on Thursday secured for himself another prestigious piece of individual silverware.

This comes amid confirmation that the Brazilian has been crowned Blancos Player of the Month for March.

Wide-man Vinícius, for his part, is fresh off a scintillating month last time out.

All told, across four appearances in all competitions, the Brazilian racked up a hefty six goals, including the decisive strike to guide Real into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Such endeavours culminated in Vinícius, on Wednesday, being named as one of five nominees for the POTM prize in Spain’s capital.

As much came despite the fact that he was forced to sit out the club’s final outing of March this past weekend, through suspension.

And, as alluded to above, Vini has today officially beaten out the competition, to add the latest accolade to his silverware cabinet.

This comes after the 23-year-old was also named La Liga Player of the Month just last week.
