Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
Chelsea now intend to negotiate with the Castellón club to complete the deal and bring the 21-year-old to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Jackson’s goals have helped Quique Setién’s side qualify for next season’s Europa League and he has had several offers from the Premier League.
The young forward had an exceptional second half of the season with the Yellow Submarine, scoring 13 goals and registering five assists (he scored nine in the last eight games of the season).
Southampton and Bournemouth were among the clubs previously interested in the Senegal international but he is now set for a move to West London where he will link up with new Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
