Villarreal have confirmed that defender Ramiro Funes Mori has suffered a tendon tear and will face months on the sideline.
The 29-year-old tore his rectus femoris tendon in training on Thursday and will not play any part in the rest of the 2019-20 campaign, with reports suggesting the Argentine will be out for three months.
