Valencia’s Ferran Torres attracting interest as he heads into the final 12 months of his contract

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly had an offer turned down for Valencia winger Ferran Torres, according to The Athletic.

Manchester City, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus, Liverpool and Barcelona are believed to have been following the 20-year-old’s situation with interest as he heads into the final 12 months of his contract with Los Che.

Valencia will not allow the Spain U21 international to enter the last 12 months of his contract as they will risk losing him for a lower fee in 2021. This could mean selling the player that joined the club as a six-year-old during the next transfer window, for a price below his €100m release clause. The release clause of €100m was inserted into his last deal signed back in 2018.
