Valencia will present a contract renewal offer to Carlos Soler in the coming days, according to Matteo Moretto of Relevo.
The player has an excellent relationship with Gennaro Gattuso and for the Italian coach, he is a fundamental player.
Soler is an essential part of Los Che. Since making his debut in the 2016-17 campaign, he has become an inspirational figure for the club.
The 25-year-old midfielder has scored 30 goals between league and European competition, earning 30 points for the club along the way. On Sunday, Soler stepped up to score the only goal of the game from the penalty spot as Valencia beat Girona 1-0 on their opening game of the season.
Soler’s contract ends in 2023 and with just two weeks left of the summer transfer window, it remains to be seen if he will stay with Valencia. In only four months he will be a free agent and if he leaves the Mestalla outfit, Valencia will be losing arguably their most important player.
