Atlético Madrid will begin their 2022-23 La Liga campaign on Monday against an opponent that is always a tricky test, especially at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

During pre-season Simeone has given minutes to his entire squad, including the youth players Sergio Diez, Riquelme, Marco Moreno, Carlos Martín and goalkeeper Gomís, who made his debut as a striker against Numancia.
The Argentinian coach has been clear from the beginning with his starting eleven, and this is what he has used during the club’s most recent training sessions: Oblak in goal, Savic, Reinildo and Witsel at the back, Llorente, Koke and Lemar in midfield, Nahuel on the right, Saúl on the left, and Morata and João Félix as the front pair.
