Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has on Tuesday moved to shut down the ongoing speculation surrounding the immediate future of Endrick.
The name of frontman Endrick has of course reemerged as a prominent one in the media headlines in Spain’s capital over recent weeks.
Amid a hugely underwhelming opening to the campaign, culminating in just eight minutes of time on the pitch, the Brazilian has been heavily tipped for a fresh winter loan move.
Endrick currently sits behind both Kylian Mbappé and Carlos Espí in the centre-forward pecking order at Real Madrid, with AC Milan, for one, understood to be ready to offer the 20-year-old a more prominent role for the 2nd half of the season.
Speaking during an appearance in front of the media on Tuesday, the subject of Endrick’s place in his squad was therefore put to the aforementioned José Mourinho for the latest occasion.
And the Portuguese made use of the opportunity to definitively reject any and all suggestions that his young attacker could move on in January.
“Forget it! No chance. I trust Endrick. Endrick will succeed here. The clubs interested in Endrick will have to fight with me to sign him. I adore Endrick; he has top potential and is very important for us.”
