Le Parisien revealed the value of the contract that Kylian Mbappé signed with PSG this past summer.
According to the French newspaper, the 23-year-old has a gross salary of €72m a year, as well as various bonuses that put the value of his deal at €630m.
Mbappé was linked with a move to Real Madrid throughout the summer transfer window, but he opted to stay in the French capital. Nonetheless, earlier this month reports emerged that he wants to leave PSG side as soon as possible to join Los Blancos.
However, following the news broken by Le Parisien, it is very difficult to see the Frenchman join Real Madrid when considering his current earnings.
To put his deal into context, Cristiano Ronaldo earned an average of €44m a season at Real Madrid according to AS, just over a half what Mbappé is making at PSG.
It is very unlikely that the European champions will change their wage structure for Mbappé, meaning he would have to take a big pay cut if he wants to join Real Madrid.
