Tanguy Nianzou: “The decision to go to Sevilla was the right one.”

This past summer Tanguy Nanzou joined Sevilla from Bayern Munich.

In an interview with French paper L’Equipe which appeared on Mundo Deportivo, Nianzou discussed his move from PSG to the Bavarian outfit:

“I made that decision and that’s why I have become what I am today. I liked the Bayern project. Like anyone else, I was disappointed because you always want to play, but I grew mentally and today I am ready for anything.”

He is very happy to have joined Sevilla:

“In Germany I didn’t play much and this was an important year. The decision to go to Sevilla was the right one, I got to know another way of playing football, with more passing and with more movements. I have come to a club with history in La Liga, in the Europa League and with good French players in its past. It’s the best step to progress.”

He is looking forward to making his debut for the France U21 team:

“It’s a reward for the effort I’ve made in my team. Now I’m playing more and I can improve. It’s an important step, most of the players who are in the senior squad have been here before. Why shouldn’t I get there too?”
