Juventus are considering to sign Marco Asensio for the 2023-24 season, report Mundo Deportivo.
Despite Carlo Ancelotti stating during the summer transfer window that Marco Asensio has a future at Real Madrid, there are no signs of negotiations taking place over a contract renewal between the club and the player.
However, with Asensio’s contract expiring in June 2023, he will be able to freely sign a pre-contract agreement with another club as soon as January 2023.
Juventus are already planning to strengthen their squad for the 2023-24 season and they have identified the 26-year-old as one of their targets, who will be an attractive option as the Italian side would not have to pay a transfer fee.
Asensio was linked with a move away from Real Madrid throughout the summer, including to Manchester United. In an interview during the international break, the midfielder did not rule out a move to Los Blancos’ rivals Barcelona either.
