Talks are ongoing between Sevilla and Chelsea for defender Jules Koundé, according to journalist Matteo Moretto.
The La Liga club have already rejected an offer of €55m for the French defender. Fabrizio Romano reports that Sevilla want €65m for the former Bordeaux player.
There is still nothing between Barcelona and Sevilla regarding a move for Koundé, making Chelsea the current front runners.
Sevilla are convinced that the decisive moment has arrived for the transfer of Koundé (23) to the Premier League, as reported by Marca.
Talks between both parties have intensified since yesterday and the clubs are trying to reach a middle ground between Chelsea’s €55m offer and Sevilla’s asking price of €65m.
It remains to be seen whether Koundé will travel with his team-mates on Thursday to Portugal for the club’s second pre-season training camp.
