An update on the future of Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé, who is in talks with Real Madrid, has been provided today when the player addressed the press ahead of France’s match with Chile tomorrow night.
In the press conference earlier today, Mbappé was bombarded with questions about his potential switch to the Spanish capital, after Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni virtually confirmed that the forward will join him at Los Blancos in the summer in a recent interview. The France captain is out of contact at PSG in June and has been in talks with his dream club for several weeks.
The France captain revealed that he will make an announcement on his future before Euro 2024 starts in June. Recent reports have suggested that Real have agreed personal terms with Mbappé, who came close to joining them in 2022 but decided to extend his stay in Paris.
Mbappé teased Los Blancos fans even more after his France teammate Tchouaméni appeared to confirm that he will be joining in the summer.
He said: “Well, I played Real Sociedad, we play Barcelona in quarter finals and if we go through, maybe Atletico in semis. So yes, Spaniards will see me a bit more.”
