Sime Vrsaljko: “I’m really tired of this bad luck.”

Atlético Madrid right-back Sime Vrsaljko has spoken about having his third operation as he continues his recovery from persistent knee trouble.

Vrsaljko tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee when he was on loan at Inter and missed the rest of the season.

It may sound bad because it is my third arthroscopic surgery since April, but this time we are all really convinced that everything will be fine, the doctors and me. I’m really tired of having this bad luck.”

The Croatian defender is hoping to return to action for Atlético in December.
