Sevilla and Valencia to negotiate Adnan Januzaj deal

Sevilla and Valencia are set to continue negotiations regarding the transfer of Adnan Januzaj, report Estadio Deportivo.

The Belgian winger joined Los Nervionenses in the summer transfer window and signed a four-year contract with the club.

However, he has been unable to establish himself as a regular at Sevilla and he has not played a single minute since the club season restarted after the World Cup.

It appears as though Jorge Sampaoli does not see a future for Januzaj in the Andaluz capital and is keen to part ways with the 27-year-old this January.

According to Estadio Deportivo, the Belgium international is close to joining Valencia and he even travelled to the city in order to complete his medical. However, Los Che have sent back Januzaj to Sevilla as they are yet to arrive at an agreement.

Sevilla would like to loan out Januzaj, while Valencia want to sign him permanently. The clubs are set to continue talks this week.
