Almería, Celta Vigo and Mallorca are the three teams that have made the best offers for Espanyol midfielder Sergi Darder, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Darder, whose release clause increased from €10m to €15m on August 1, is reportedly attracted by the idea of linking up Javier Aguirre at Mallorca.
Mallorca have been productive in the summer transfer window and have just signed Canadian forward Cyle Larin, who joins from Real Valladolid to become the club’s fourth new signing ahead of the 2023-24 season.
As it stands, the offer from Mallorca is still considered to be too low for Espanyol, who have been relegated to the Segunda División.
Darder has continued to display his professionalism and has trained as normal with the Catalan club. “He is the same as always, making the same jokes. He is the same in the dressing room… He is professional,” said Espanyol player Pol Lozano at a press conference.
