AC Milan announce the signing of Yunus Musah from Valencia

Yunus Musah has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with AC Milan after completing his medical with the club on Friday.

Valencia and Milan have both confirmed the transfer through separate official statements after an agreement was reached at the end of last week.

Marca report that the fee for the USMNT midfielder is in the region of €20m, while reports in Italy claim that the transfer fee is €18m fixed plus €2-3m in variables.

In a statement on Friday, Milan said: “AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of Yunus Musah on a permanent basis. The midfielder has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2028.”

The 20-year-old came through the Arsenal youth academy before joining La Liga outfit Valencia in 2019. He made his Valencia debut in September 2020, before going on to make 108 appearances for Los Che, scoring five goals.

The New York-born player has also earned 27 caps with the USA national team, where has won 2 CONCACAF Nations League titles.
