Sergio Ramos disappointed not to get called up for Spain

Mundo Deportivo learnt that Sergio Ramos was very disappointed not receive a call-up for Spain’s upcoming Nations League fixtures against Switzerland and Portugal.

Despite making the 55-man long-list, Luis Enrique did not add him to the final 23-man squad that he will be using during the international break.

Luis Enrique’s snub has disheartened Sergio Ramos, who knows that the World Cup in Qatar will most likely be his last opportunity to go to an international tournament.

Despite spending most of last season sidelined due a series of injuries, he has been a regular in the PSG starting XI this season. He has already played 11 games in all competitions.

Even though he was not called up this September, the centre-back has not given up on making the Spain squad that will go to the World Cup in November and vows to continue working hard to catch the eye of Luis Enrique.
