Sergio Busquets admits Barcelona are in a difficult to position to reach the last 16 of the Champions League

Last night Barcelona drew 3-3 against Inter Milan at the Nou Camp in the fourth round of the Champions League group stages.

In his post-match interview that appeared on Marca, Sergio Busquets summarised the match:

“In the first half we were good, we dominated and found many players between the lines. In the second half everything changed, the early goal threw us off. We lost the ball more and lacked control.”

The Spaniard believes that Barcelona should have done better in this group:

“We weren’t as convincing as we needed to be in the penalty area. It’s disappointing. It was a difficult group, but we have to aspire to more after the signings that have been made.”

The Blaugrana are currently third in their group and Busquets admitted that it will be a challenge to qualify to the next stage of the Champions League:

“We’re going to try, but it is very difficult.”
