After missing out on Lionel Messi, who has chosen to turn down an offer from Al Hilal to join Inter Miami, Saudi Arabia are determined to try their luck with another former La Liga player.
Sergio Ramos (37), whose contract with PSG expires on 30 June, is about to depart the French club. The ex-Real Madrid captain is free to sign for another club and in recent days has also been tempted by Saudi Arabian football.
According to Mundo Deportivo via reporter Ekrem Konur, Al Ahli have approached Ramos with an annual offer of $20 million, a figure that is a far cry from those of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Messi.
If he were to make the move to Saudi Arabia, he would join ex-Madrid players Benzema and Ronaldo in the league that is offering huge salaries to some of Europe’s elite players.
