Fede Valverde’s situation at Real Madrid: Jude Bellingham on the way, Premier League interest

Real Madrid consider Fede Valverde non-transferable and refuse to listen to offers for the Uruguayan midfielder as they consider him part of the club’s medium to long-term future.

In the last few hours there have been reports about interest from Premier League teams, but, according to Diario AS, Madrid have responded to these rumours by saying that Valverde is not and will not be for sale.

The arrival of England international Jude Bellingham, who will undergo a medical in Madrid in the coming days although he has already undergone an initial review by the club, has triggered rumours of possible departures.

As far as Valverde is concerned, the only news Real Madrid are waiting for is from the Competition Committee. The disciplinary body of the Spanish FA (RFEF), at the request of the Anti-Violence Commission, opened proceedings against the Uruguayan for an alleged assault on Villarreal player Álex Baena (21) after the match played between the two teams at the Bernabéu in April.

A month and a half has passed since the case was opened and a prompt resolution is expected, which could lead to a sanction for Valverde, who in that case would miss the start of the new league season.
