Salernitana have reached an agreement with Villarreal for the loan of Boulaye Dia, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The two clubs have agreed on a €2.5 million loan fee. The Italian outfit also have the option to buy the Senegalese striker (25) at the end of the season for €11 million.
It is all done but the player has asked for some time to consider the offer. As per Di Marzio, Dia would receive €2 million net plus bonuses in Italy.
Dia scored five goals in La Liga last season and also provided five assists. The Senegal international also scored against Liverpool in his side’s Champions League semi-final defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s team.
He was bought by the Spanish side for €12 million last year from Stade Reims. And now, with the club looking to reinforce its attacking options, Dia could leave this summer.
