A fresh round of comments on the part of Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski have piqued widespread attentions in Spain this evening.
This comes with the frontman, first, having provided a fresh insight into his future in Catalunya.
Speaking in an interview with Polish journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk, Lewandowski was drawn on a whole host of topics, with his plans beyond the summer, unsurprisingly, having taken their place front and centre.
As much of course comes amid ongoing media speculation, pointing towards a potential incoming departure from Barcelona for the veteran attacker.
‘Lewa’ himself, however, is in absolutely no two minds when it comes to his Blaugrana future:
“It’s clear for me. I will stay at Barcelona for next season,” he concluded.
Amongst a host of other noteworthy questions put before Lewandowski, the Pole was also drawn on the imminent arrival of Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid.
It is widely considered to be just a matter of time before explosive wide-man Mbappé is announced as the latest Galactico addition to Carlo Ancelotti’s ranks in Spain’s capital.
And though many of a Barcelona persuasion have made clear their concern with the latest impending arrival at the home of their fiercest rivals, Lewandowski, for his part, is excited by the prospect:
“There is no ‘Here we go’ yet, so it’s hard for me to comment!
“Knowing Kylian and speaking to him in the past, I know that playing against him in La Liga will be a cool thing.”
