Returning Barcelona pair spotted in attendance at Barca Atlètic playoff clash

Two players to have spent this past season out on loan away from Barcelona moved to show their support for the club’s next generation of stars on Saturday.

As much came by way of their attendance at Barca Atlètic’s crunch playoff showdown with Ibiza.

Rafa Márquez’s troops marked their return to action earlier this evening, welcoming Ibiza to the Estadi Johan Cruyff for the 2nd leg of the promotion playoff semi-final tie between the clubs.

The Blaugrana headed into proceedings boasting a slender advantage, owing to a 2-1 first-leg triumph last weekend.

And, when all was said and done, the evening’s hosts got the job done in style, emerging on the right side of a 5-3 result, and 7-4 aggregate win.

Playing their part in as much were a whole host of Barcelona’s next generation of stars, from Marc Guiu to Pau Víctor, Marc Casadó and hat-trick hero Unai Hernández.

And watching on from the stands, as alluded to above, were a number of the club’s first-team stars, too.

Two recently returned to base in Catalunya following loan spells away, in the form of Ansu Fati, and Julián Araujo.

And also spotted in the stands at the Estadi Johan Cruyff was defender Alejandro Balde, sidelined since January through injury:
