La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have on Tuesday announced a contract renewal for one of the club’s up-and-coming talents.
The player in question? Iñaki Rupérez.
Rupérez, for his part, is a 21-year-old right-back, who is currently learning his trade between the youth and senior setups in San Sebastián.
The defender has long been widely praised for his abilities on the ball, with Rupérez’s impressive form across the season to date having seen him called up to first-team training on a number of occasions by Sociedad boss Imanol.
The Spaniard is yet to be afforded his senior bow, but as much is expected to be forthcoming in short order.
In turn, on Tuesday, it should come as little surprise to hear of the powers that be at Anoeta moving to tie Rupérez down to fresh terms.
As confirmed in an official statement across La Real’s website and social media platforms:
‘Real Sociedad and Iñaki Rupérez have reached an agreement to renew his contract until the end of the 26-27 Season.’
