Real Sociedad injury latest before Mallorca: Oyarzabal, Traoré, Zakharyan & Barrenetxea

Updates on the wellbeing of a whole host of key members of Real Sociedad’s squad have today come to the fore online.

As much, of course, comes ahead of a crucial outing for Imanol’s troops this coming Tuesday.

Fresh off a disappointing defeat at the hands of Villarreal in La Liga, Sociedad will turn attentions back towards their pursuit of silverware, in the 2nd leg of the club’s Copa del Rey semi-final showdown with RCD Mallorca.

The tie currently stands on a knife edge, after a goalless stalemate in the opening leg two weeks ago.

Safe to say, then, that Sociedad boss Imanol will no doubt be desperate to have as many of his side’s key performers as possible fit and available for selection at Anoeta.

In turn, on Sunday, an insight into the injury situation in La Real’s squad has been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, who have revealed the latest on the wellbeing of no fewer than five players:

Mikel Oyarzabal – Yet to return to training. A major doubt to face Mallorca.

Hamary Traoré – Recovering well. Expected to feature vs Mallorca.

Arsen Zakharyan – Recovering well. Expected to feature vs Mallorca.

Ander Barrenetxea – Still in discomfort. A doubt to face Mallorca.

Beñat Turrientes – Likely to return after missing out vs Villarreal following the death of his mother.
