Real Madrid’s plan to sign Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid are interested in signing Jude Bellingham, as reported by Cadena SER.

The English midfielder is very much liked at Madrid. The problem is that Bellingham is a non-EU player so he could not arrive this summer as Madrid have Éder Militão, Rodrygo and Vinicius occupying the three available non-EU spaces.

Madrid made Borussia Dortmund aware of their interest in the player during their negotiations for Erling Haaland last winter.

The non-EU situation would likely see Los Blancos agreeing on a deal with Dortmund but they would not bring him in this year. They would have the option of signing the English player next year, when Vinicius will have his Spanish passport.

The transfer would be for around €90m. Liverpool also want Bellingham and are reportedly already offering Dortmund €100m for the England international.
