Real Madrid will play home games at the Santiago Bernabéu next season

According to Cadena COPE, Real Madrid will play their home games at the Santiago Bernabéu next season.

Madrid are expected to ask LaLiga to play the first three matchdays of the 2021/22 season at a different venue, until the new stadium is fully completed.

The club have not yet made a formal request to Atlético Madrid to play at the Wanda Metropolitano, due to the delay of the works at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, although this option has been considered, among others.

The construction work, coupled with the more than likely attendance of fans for the start of next season, has led Real Madrid to consider alternatives to the current Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium, which has a capacity of 6,000.
