Real Madrid reserve Zinedine Zidane’s number 5 shirt for Kylian Mbappé

Real Madrid have sent their latest offer to PSG for Kylian Mbappé. The bid, which will reportedly be their last, is worth €170 million plus €10 million in add-ons.

The Emir of Qatar has ordered PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi to open negotiations with Madrid for the transfer of Mbappé to the La Liga club.

AS report that in Madrid, preparations are already underway to welcome the Frenchman to the club. Madrid want to pay tribute to Mbappé by giving him the historic number 5, the same number worn by his childhood hero and club legend, Zinedine Zidane.

Real Madrid’s number 5 shirt is currently worn by defender Jesús Vallejo, but the club’s idea is to pass it on to Mbappé, who also has the 19 available, and the number 23 that David Beckham wore at the Santiago Bernabéu.
