Real Madrid reenter the market ahead of transfer deadline

La Liga giants Real Madrid could yet sanction a surprise signing before the close of the summer transfer window.

That’s according to Marca, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in the Spanish capital.

Real, of course, have publicly stated for months now that the club’s window, when it comes to incomings at least, has long come to a close.

On Wednesday, however, the situation undertook a drastic change.

This comes after Dani Ceballos, out of the blue, reiterated to the Real Madrid board his desire to move on.

Owing to as much, alongside the departures of Nico Paz and Mario Martín, and Eduardo Camavinga’s spell on the sidelines, Los Blancos, in turn, have once more begun looking towards potential signings.

As per a report from Marca:

‘In Valdebebas they are beginning to think that perhaps the market could open again and look for a player to complete Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.’
