La Liga giants Real Madrid are readying a contract proposal for a member of the club’s midfield ranks.
The player in question? Aurélien Tchouaméni.
France international Tchouaméni is for his part in the midst of what has been a largely impressive individual campaign to date.
After seeing his performances come in for heavy criticism amongst the Real Madrid fanbase, the former AS Monaco standout has bounced back in stellar fashion.
From his berth at the base of Los Blancos’ engine room, Tchouaméni has been a near ever-present under the watch of both Xabi Alonso, and Álvaro Arbeloa.
And his efforts along the way have evidently not gone unappreciated on the part of those behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.
As per a report from French football insider Santi Aouna:
‘Real Madrid wants to extend Aurélien Tchouaméni’s contract. The French midfielder is considered a key element of the Madrid project.’
