Real Madrid on alert: Details of Bayern’s final contract offer to Alphonso Davies confirmed

An insight into the details of German giants Bayern Munich’s latest and final contract offer to transfer-linked defender Alphonso Davies has been provided on Tuesday.

The name of Canadian international Davies has of course long taken its place front and centre in the headlines across Europe.

This comes amid a tug-of-war over the future of the explosive left-back.

At parent club Bayern, the board have made clear their hopes of tying Davies down to fresh terms, ahead of the expiration of his contract in a little over a year’s time.

Complicating matters, however, is the long-standing interest of La Liga leaders Real Madrid in the services of the 23-year-old.

Amid their ongoing search for reinforcements at left-back, the transfer team in Spain’s capital have set their sights firmly on Davies, considered the ideal option for the short and long-term alike.

In turn, all associated with Real will, on Tuesday, no doubt be interested to hear the details of Bayern’s latest contract offer to their transfer-linked stopper.

As per Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, Max Eberl, sporting director at the Allianz Arena, has confirmed the figures of what will come as the Bundesliga champions’ final proposal to Davies and his entourage:

A contract through the summer of 2029, featuring wages of €11-13 million per-year, plus add-ons.

The Bavarians have made crystal clear that they will not come close to meeting the €20 million demands laid out by Davies’ representatives, meaning, if he does not accept their latest offer, the Canadian will be sold in the summer.
