The transfer team at La Liga giants Real Madrid have been actively working towards securing the signing of Manchester United starlet JJ Gabriel for some time now.
This of course comes ahead of an imminent predicted departure from Old Trafford on the part of the England youth international.
Gabriel has for his part dominated the headlines across all of Europe over recent days. After word was forthcoming that the 15-year-old has made the call to seek out a new challenge in his fledgling career, a host of the continent’s leading clubs were put on alert.
To date, the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have been tipped as potential landing spots for Gabriel.
It is the aforementioned Real Madrid, though, who appear to have carved out for themselves an early advantage in the race for the teenage attacker.
As per a report from The Athletic:
‘Real Madrid have been working on the potential signing of Gabriel for months. Real Madrid are well-positioned as they work on a deal.’
